| Description | Hi Kerwin I have one question about the hdmi-edid.xml file. The operation of this file is different from INTEK. For Smart3, the hdmi-edid.xml file is deleted when the hdmi cable is removed or STB entered into the sleep. However, in the case of INTEK STB, hdmi-edid.xml is not deleted and the last value remains. In common sense, it would be better to keep the hdmi-edid.xml data that was successful in the last edid parsing. That is 1. if the edid value is read incorrectly, it is not updated. 2. Do not update if edid values are the same. 3. Update if the read edid value is different. ( case : edid read ok and different value ) How about this way? Please give me your opinion. Hi YK, Please check original requirement here. (https://mantis.cnsbg.foxconn.com/vaas/view.php?id=570) It said we should delete hdmi-edid.xml if HDMI is not connected. BTW, while STB is in sleep mode, HDMI output is closed so HDMI plugout event will be received. Then hdmi-edid.xml will be also deleted. Thank you ! |
